A Day at the Zoo

Sunday, May 20, 2012

School is almost out, and I'm kind of sad for Mila that she won't have her preschool class anymore.  I'm sure she's going to miss all those kids like crazy, and the sad part is she won't ever see most of them again.  She goes to a private Christian preschool that has taught her so much this year, and her teacher is a gem as well.  I've gone on every field trip they've had this year, which is a point of pride for me.  I love being involved and experiencing a little bit of their childhood with them.  This time we went to the zoo, and Olivia was as happy as a clam to be able to come along.

I could stand there and watch those giraffes forever.  They are majestic, and graceful, and elegant, and when I watch them I can't help but think about how awesome our Creator is, who created every animal to be so unique from the next.  Humbling to think about.
Mila's teacher has been doing this for 25 years, and it shows, because she knew on the dot when the kids would get hungry!
My new red shirt came in handy.  :)
A good, good day.  Next time I will definitely bring my two boys along as well!

xoxo,
Tanya
