This was probably the last time Naomi sat in her Bumbo. That thing is a perfect hand-me-down item because it only gets used for a couple months and it still looks like new after you're done with it! Naomi never loved it, probably because she doesn't like to be restricted and her legs had to be shoved into these narrow openings when sitting in it. She hated the backrest too. She would lean back and push off the floor with her feet, and I was always scared she would pop right out the top of it! She finally became strong enough to actually fall out of it, not out the top but by leaning to one side and popping one leg out, and then the other. We quickly retired the Bumbo and started using our vintage high chair a lot more!
