We have had a lot of fun with our new Elf on the Shelf. I've been meaning to get one of these for several years now, but I always forget, or the stores sell out, so this was our year! I didn't realize there were boy and girl elves, so I just grabbed one at Target, and ours turned out to be a girl. That's fine with us, since we have three girlies in the house! The kids named her Lucy, and they have loved finding her in random places around the house. They don't really believe she's watching them and telling Santa if they've been good or bad, they just like finding her. This little tradition will definitely continue next year!
