Wall Art

Friday, August 3, 2012

I am a very visual person, and I've always wished I could make my own wall art. I have the eye for design, but not any painting or illustration skills whatsoever. BUT...I am always admiring various prints I come across. I love to have things on my walls, and I have to stop myself from covering them with prints. I love a good dose of color, which is probably why I love white walls. No clashing no matter what I put up, because I tend to move things around every once in a while anyway.

Here is a collection of some of my favorites. I just ordered the apple print for one of the kid's rooms. Can't wait to get it and frame it. I have all these ideas for the kids' rooms I want to do, but I don't see the point of changing things around until I get their walls painted how I like. Hopefully I'll get that done before the year is over. The 'for like ever' print is next on my list. I've been wanting it ever since I saw it in Domino magazine years ago, and I have to have it for my bedroom.

Really like the "Let it be" poster and the first Paris prints. I don't believe for a minute that you don't have painting or illustration skills! It's only because you haven't tried.
